UM’s representation offices will vary in size and scope, yet all will serve the central functions of linking UM to academic institutions, businesses, government and non-governmental organizations, and the communities in the host countries and regions.
UM’s regional offices are University-wide resources and are available to facilitate the UM community’s partnerships in the region. In 2019, UM opened a representation office in Mexico City, serving Mexico and Central America.
The first of five planned offices in the hemisphere, the team located in Mexico City has increased UM’s presence and forged multiple strategic alliances for academic and research collaborations in its first year.
